JOHN CAREY... In addition to being a founding member, performer, and writer for Moose Pie, John has been a performing member of The Puzzled Players Comedy Improv Theater since the groups' humble beginnings in 2003. John has studied improv comedy under Tim Mollen (EPAC, Gannet Humor columnist), Physical comedy in N.Y. under Kenny Raskin (Cirque DiSoueil) and acting under the direction of Tim Gleason (Binghamton City Stage, Know Theatre). In his spare time he acts in independent films, does radio commercials, writes poetry/short stories, performs interactive family entertainment with "The Amazing Improv Dads," and teaches comedy improv classes to adults and children. And if that isn't enough, John is a volunteer team manager for "Destination Imagination" where he took his creative team of fifth graders to a N.Y. State third place finish. To remain sane, John lives by this personal philosophy:

"When life begins to drive you crazy, just be thankful you have a ride."
